Unlike any project before, this one allowed for me to conceptualize everything starting with just one word...emerge. With this given word, I created a series of mind maps to explore where I would go with it. In the end, I was lead to a new word, this being algorithm. With my new found word, I began to ponder where I would go with this. I quickly realized that I wanted to design my project around art created by algorithms and A.I.

It became clear to me that all chapter openers should be consistent and also invoke the excitement which I hope the audience will feel. Using duplicated layers of actual code, the backgrounds for these openers were meant to capture the feeling of starting at code for far too long.
